I am so sad to hear today about the passing of Laura Hooper Robison.  Laura was a dear friend and wonderful person.  She was one of the people I most hoped to see at the 50th reunion.  Her Mom was a great friend to my Mom also.  They shared many great times together in retirement years.  Mom could not drive due to her eyesight, and Ms. Hooper often took Mom to events.  Mrs. Hooper proivded such joy for Mom.  My prayers are with Laura's family.  I was blessed to have known Laura all these years.  She truly was such a dear person.  In memory of a special lady....Sheila Hall

I was very sad to hear of Laura's passing in such an unfortunate accident.  She was a friend in high school and I will always remember her smile.  We had become facebook friends and I loved all of her postings and comments about her bulldogs.  I never had any talent in art, but I had Mrs. Hooper for study hall one year and she was a special lady.  Laura definately followed in her mom's footprint.  She will be greatly missed.

I too am so saddened by the death of Laura Hooper Robinson.  We had caught up a few years ago on Facebook.

I told her how much I loved her Mom, my first art teacher, and wished she could know that I continued on with my art education.

She told me that her Mom had really liked me too.

On Facebook I enjoyed her humor and honesty.
